
The "Livin' Free Band" is a California based Country/Rock
band that has played the "Tonk" circuit from Bakersfield all the way south to
the Mexican border and is known for catering to dancers (one of its members is a dance
instructor). They have played concerts with people like "Earl Thomas Conley",
"The Pirates of the Mississippi"and have played most of the Elks, Moose and
Disabled Vets lodges in the area.
Livin' Free's materal consists of Country and Country-Rock originals and covers from
Hank Williams Sr. & Jr. to Dwight Yoakam to Patsy Cline to Reba McEntire...with five
(5) singers in the band the variety is awesome.. and.. oh yea ..you will be able to dance
to them.
Being a family oriented and civic minded good natured bunch...Livin' Free has played the
"March of Dimes Walkathon" four years running...they received the
"Sweepstakes Trophy" two years in a row from the "Canyon Country Pioneer
Days Parade" and have played most of the functions for the Catholic and Social
Services Children's Fund for the last five years...talk about staying power..Livin' Free
is rapidly becomming an institution in the region..
